Hi Folks:
Since I am so pleased with the perfomance of the E-Z Sharp Keychain knife sharpener, I thought I would take the time to send you a review of it. I have used it for about 6 months now, and it works exceptionally well. I was amazed how quicky it returned a great edge on my knife. I keep it, a magnesium fire striker and a compass on a neck chain if I am outdoors anywhere. It does a really great job on the knife, plus you can use it to strike sparks as well on the firestarters.
Be careful when you use the sharpener as it is small and your fingers are relatively close to the blade. Nothing that is not do-able, just pay attention. It only takes a few strokes, so you won't need to concentrate long, but I always do to make sure I don't slip. But a remarkably functional and effective sharpening tool. It does a better job than my whetstone and is much easier to use. A bargain for the money and totally lightweight and convenient so I always have it, which is really the key to any survivial tool. They are no good if you don't have them with you. I give it a 10 out of 10.
